write4word (W4W) is an artist led community organisation that works within the language arts by which we mean the written and spoken word. W4W is constituted as a community interest company and is co-led by Dominic Williams and Mel Perry who are two self employed freelance creative practitioners and who undertake voluntary roles as directors of the company. Through the language arts we aim to educate, perform, entertain and inform. Our mission is to develop writers and use writing to develop people, by this we mean that we work across a spectrum of activities that include literary and therapeutic projects. We work within networks of writers to develop their work through to publication and broadcast and we work with people who wish to address individual and community wellbeing through writing.
